GRAZ - TARVISIO - Checkpoint PREDIL, the deepest impression next to the thorns under my skin - KOBARID, the cheap base - tour 14 by bike - STOL South by bike - Checkpoint PREDIL again - TARVISIO again - DAILY LIFE... ...to be continued.
I’m impressed that rock climbing becomes more a kind of general knowledge than a popular sport here in Graz. Everybody “does” it. Well, the hell for individuals, when the alternatives turn into mainstream and become commercialized. But it’s simple: wearing blinders is all you need to feel individual.

“tired, small, boring and nervous” says Heinz Bude in die Zeit. We didn’t get a total social experience. That’s why we are a little bit more tired, smaller and more boring.
War, inflation, revolution – the ingredients of a total experience. Would these things make our generation more interesting?
Life long learning, missing out nothing, being competent in any situation – freaking boring, isn’t it?
Now digital devices reached a maturity level which provides an added value towards analogue gear – 6400 ASA and passably noise. Especially full format sensors are seductive tools. Have a look at this demonstration.
Conclusion: I think i need such a thing. Currently most wanted: Nikon D3 but rather expensive. By the way: my Musicman Sterlin bass guitar is for sale. I got some insider hints from a salesman and that's the real intention posting this information: End of 2008 two new cameras (versions) are awaited: Canon 5D and Nikon D 300; Nikon will probably split the D3 in one high resolution professional device and an upgraded D300 with a full format sensor. Waiting, waiting, waiting, …for new possibilities in photography… …or buying now?
